Dates for the FCAT are as follows:
FCAT Writing - February 10
FCAT Reading & Math - March 10 - 13
The 4th grade team will be conducting a fun and motivational program called HEAT. This acronym stands for Homework, Effort, Attendance, and Test.
Each student will have points over the next couple of months that they should not lose. Ways you can lose points:
1. Not turning in completed homework
2. Not showing effort in school - teacher judgement
3. You must be at school every day, and on time
4. You must be at school every single day when the FCAT is administered
The students who are left with points after the FCAT will be invited to the HEAT party!!! The Party information will be coming out soon! Keep you eyes open for this exciting information!!
It is very important to be at school, on time, for the next couple of months. Please be sure to eat healthy, get plenty of sleep, and wash your hands on a regular basis so you don't get sick.
