Home Practice – We have been practicing these skills during Calendar Math from the beginning of the school year. We are about to assess the students to get a grade on the following:
1. Say and write the months of the year in order from January to December.
Students may be asked questions like what month it was last month, next month, three months ago, or five months from now, etc.
2. Say and write the days of the week in order from Sunday to Saturday.
Students may be asked what day it was yesterday, tomorrow, two days from now, or two days ago, etc.
3. Skip count by writing and saying the numbers: 2, 5, 10.
Students may be asked to start at a number such as 24 and then continue skip counting on from there, etc.
Please practice at home until you know all of the above.
