Christmas is now over and the New Year is quickly approaching! What this means in out with the old and in with the new. I bought a few plastic bins from Target today to do some organizing. It was mainly in my daughters bedroom/closet. It was a sense of starting new in her room. Have you thought about organizing your room for the new year? There are many different new year's resolutions people can make with themselves. Here are a few that I would like for you to think about:
1. Be a better friend
2. Keep your room clean/organized
3. Get all your homework finished and turned in on time
4. Study more...the correct way
5. Not watch as much television
6. Get more exercise throughout the week
7. Eat more fruits and vegetables each day
8. Do not drink soda or sugary drinks
Of course the list can go on and on. People set goals all the time to reach aspirations. You should challenge yourself with doing things right or better. The commitments you set should not be unreachable. Instead, the goals should definitely be something that are realistic.
My plan for this coming week is to create some amazing lessons for you!! What will you be doing this week? Send me an email or comment below to let me know. I would also love to hear about your New Year's resolution(s).
In school, we will be closing up the 2nd nine weeks the week of January 10th. We will be ending with electromagnets in Science, where we will have a lab that you will build an electromagnet and put it through multiple tests. We will continue with the Shape of the Data workbook in math, which will end our quarter's math grade. In writing, we will finish our reports and present for a final Language Arts grade.
Hope all is well!! Have a safe New Year and I will see you in 2010!! Can you believe that we will have to start dating our papers 2010?? Crazy, huh??
I miss you and can't wait to see you to get hugs!! :)
Love, Mrs. Taylor ;)
