The workers quickly realized that the caramel could be placed in a box with the dimensions 1 x 100 = 100.
Then a worker in the caramel factory decided he could box his caramel in a box with the dimensions 2 x 50!
After a few minutes of counting, another group soon realized they could place the caramel in a box with the dimensions 4 x 25 = 100! This box was looking pretty good, and they started imagining the box being wrapped in a nice bow for Halloween!
Here is another box with the dimensions of 5 x 20:
The workers found all of the FACTORS of 100 and the combinations that make up 100 when they are multiplied together.
Here they are: (1 x 100) (100 x 1), (2 x 50), (50 x 2), (4 x 25), (25 x 4), (5 x 20), (20 x 5), and (10 x 10)
